The idea for the song came from two places. One, obviously, being the Office and Michael Scott. The other, from our friends Paul & Storm and Jonathan Coulton. While attending a P&S/JoCo show at the Paradise in Boston, P&S made the mistake of dropping a “that’s what she said” early on in their set. Needless to say, the crowd took this and ran with it. All night long. By the time we left, I couldn’t finish a sentence without pulling a TWSS out of it. A few hours later, the song was done and my soul was cleansed.
